On a serious note dont the Pikies own the land? Didnt they buy the old scrap yard?
This isnt squatting if thats the case it is just a council bylaw being thwarted; or is there a hidden agenda and everyone is buying into it cause they just dont like them?

I was under the impression from what little info we are given out here that a large % of male Pikies with families held down jobs or is that wrong?

Andre, they own the land BUT only have planning permission for part of it....which means kicking out 400 folks. If you're travellers why have statics, why say you've been there for 10 years....have nowhere to go (doesn't stop them parking up on any bit of green land they find, shitting in bushes and leaving bags of rubbish, gas bottles, fridges etc for council payers money to clean up).
