Maybe I needed to give it more of a chance I found it too hard. I couldn't distinguish between any punches as they were all set too close together on the stick - that was just one problem. Having said that I only had like 5 x 3 round fights

You'll need about 100 rounds before you even begin to know what your doing.

Otherwise, just enjoy getting your arse kicked.
