In a straight up brawling, Floyd would get severely hurt by Pacman.. He dont even get down like that though..

No offence to thread starter but this thread is stupid.
Pacquiao obviously has the advantage in a brawling fight.
Making a thread on it is pointless when you already really know the answer.

Because knocking someone out when they are not looking and have their hands down means you have knock out power? ... I agree this Thread is dumb, everyone here knows Pacquiao will spark Floyd in a toe to toe battle. Floyd was hurt by Mosley so we know Pacquiao can get him out. Plus just look at the last 10 seconds of De la Hoya vs Mayweather.. Floyd was in control but when he went toe to toe those last 10 secs he got owned by Oscar.

Floyd going toe to toe with Pacquiao would take his defence sorta out of the equation.
I mean if Floyd's being aggressive and throwing, he's not defending which gives Pacquiao openings and Pacquiao always takes advantage of fighters who are aggressive.
Pacquiao's power is far more likely to hurt Floyd than the other way round also.
An aggressive Floyd works in favor of Pacquiao imo.
Floyd's best bet against Pacquiao is to box him. Pacquiao has always had difficulty with counter punchers and Mayweather is the best in the sport at it.

Wow... Well you know Mosley happened last year, we can safely infer that Floyd is the same fighter as oppose to Manny being stopped in 96 and I believe 98 or 99 ... I mean I'm sure you would agree that that's def not the same Manny Pacquiao not even half the fighter he is now. But I'm not a Pacquiao fanboy, I actually would pick Floyd to win in a boxing match but to think Mayweather would slug and KO pac is quite funny. As far as Floyd being the bigger man, Pacquiao fought margarito and took his best shots so I doubt Floyds size would matter.
