I strongly disagree with Roach on this one. Linares has the ability to stay away enough to outbox Rios to a points win but nothing more. Even with that possibility I don't see him staying away for 10-12 rounds without getting overwhelmed enough for Rios to catch up with him. Rios by stoppage or UD with a couple of knockdowns.

I think it would be a battle for both guys, I think Linares does a lot of damage early, but gets caught, maybe even dropped once or twice. As the fight progresses & Linares slows Rios tags him more often & has him hanging on or takes him out down down stretch. If it gets to the cards I say it's a draw

Just confirms Roach is retarded. He is slighting Pac's next opponent and uses the term "Kill". So it just goes to show another cherry picked Pac opponent. Should Pac win impressively Roach has no business talking shit let alone suggesting a PBF fight. The truth is a talented Linares went downhill under his tutelage. Roach is a very good trainer, and he's only showing symptoms of Parkinsons Having said that, any trainers opinion on their own guys is hardly objective. Linares is so much more talented than Rios, but he's really vulnerable and Rios is anything but, as well as a fair bit bigger. I'd expect it could go either way with Rios taking a beating unless/until Linares gets hurt. Maybe they are talking about making the fight assuming Rios loses to Manny, would make sense.
