Good match up for Pirog but he can fight a little. I like Quillin but he has to fight somebody. I don't see those 2 facing off but it would be nice.

just watched this fight after ready about how pirog brutally broke down martirosyan...
it was brutally boring.
i thought pirog was supposed to be good. it looked like the way my brothers and i used to fight...pulling punches and arm punches thrown super slow so as not to hurt your opponent/brother.
i don't think he'll be beating anyone of consequence if this is the competition he's seeking at 31.
its embarrassing to watch! go ahead and try.
Watching that clip makes me think maybe Jacobs just wasn't/isn't that good(haven't seen him since losing to Pirog). The way Pirog squares up and throws arm punch combos is almost cartoonish or something, looks like he's doesn't actually turn anything over to me.

Pirog looked stylish in the Jacobs fight even if Jacobs wasn't/isn't that good. Martirosyan kept the fight on the inside because he is much shorter, I think that may be why Pirog's punches looked like arm punches or at least somewhat.
Pirog still needs a big fight now. Another defense like this and I think we can write him off completely.
I just don't remember Jacobs actually doing a lot in that fight, Pirog probably looked so much better when he had that kind of space to get set. He has some slick moves and I liked watching him that night.... This one has me thinking he really can't do much on the inside and is nowhere near as tricky as I thought. Guess we'll see.

Well, he plans to be ringside for Martinez v. Barker, which means if Martinez emerges victorious that match could happen in the future.
