Though to be fair, I probably spend more time interacting with you guys than my real-life friends and some of you probably know me about as well as they do, at least in an intellectual sense.
sorry we all have jobs we are not on facebook
My 'fake' account is actually my real one, so to speak. I've had it for years and years. I like it because none of the dumbfucks I went to school with can add me and I can pretty much control who knows it's me and who befriends me.
I created one using my real name once I finished school and got a legitimate job because it became necessary from a networking standpoint. People I knew from work wanted to add me and I didn't want to let them see what a fucking weird motherfucker I actually am, so I created a new account using my real name. So far, about three hundred and fifty thousand assholes who I want nothing to do with have sent friend requests because of that stupid goddamn account, but I suppose it's a necessary evil. I almost never post on it though and I hate the fact that I have to add people as 'friends' who I have no intention of ever interacting with in any meaningful way.
I never post anything good on the real account anyways, all that stuff goes on the fake one.
Hahaha, this is the funniest thread, Bilbo begging for fb friends.
I'll be your fb friend Baggins, but you'll be subject to my political rantings and ravings in 2 places as opposed to just one.
Let's see, I'm fb friends with BG, Killersheep, and another forum member who's alias I've forgotten.
If anyone does care to add me just pm me....Missy, I'm looking your way baby![]()

Facebook is something I have considered, but ultimately I must reject it. Julian Assange tells me that it is an insidious and dangerous spy network and I am afraid that someone as notorious as myself would be put in danger by signing up for that kind of thing. Plus I have no desire to keep in touch with anyone that I don't currently keep in touch with. I can call my family, email my distant friends and post random shit on here and all in all that is as far as my social networking goes. I actually talk to some people in the flesh too, though this is only rumoured.
I like all my brethren here, even the ones I want to sucker punch, and if anyone ever needs to talk to me, then here is easy enough. We have pm's and also threads and there are few real secrets between us all. I just don't see the purpose of Facebook, I struggle to see any merits in it. I was watching a Billy Connolly interview yesterday and he was talking about his reluctance to get a mobile phone and was bemoaning the lack of quiet life moments in modern life. Things like Facebook and smart phones only destroy those important moments. You need quiet moments, it seems everyone is telling everything online and doing it 24/7. I refuse to add to it. My posting here is 70% of my online discourse and that is quite enough for me.
One needs a certain mystery and Facebook erases all mystery.
Consider the following scenario.
You have two gorgeous 19 year old neighbours. You fancy these neighbours. You want to perv over pics of these neighbours and know what they are up to.
You want to do this secretly, like a true creep.
Hello Facebook, number one stalking essential for the new millenium. Match with google street and you have everything you need for a successful scoping/kidnapping mission.
CFH you have a fake account ? Are you getting divorced too![]()
Hey Bilbo your unfriendable btw. You have to send a request...I'm the guy with palm trees and gloves on the mirror.
