Can't really tell if he looks in any better shape than the other week when the pic of him in a vest came out to be honest. Doesn't change the fact that if he can get down to 200lbs then I fully expect him to be something of a force again and I think he can become champ at CW.
He will beat Lebedev.

Honestly, it's 10 years too late. He's 43 now and he didn,t take care of his body as much as a Hopkins. It's a pity because the guy had a phenomenal raw talent, perhaps one of the mos gifted of his generation and though he didn't train well for a good par of his career, he did accomplish a lot being a slacker, which speaks volume. I am happy to see him back in shape and almost talking intelligently but I am not excited, it's quite good for the improvement but way too late.

I hope he does well. The CW division is very poor at the minute IMO. There are too many people like Chambers and Toney who have been fighting at HW when really they should have been down at 200. I know the big news is in the HW's but they are not naturally big enough IMO.
Marco Huck should not be a champion but he is and thoroughly deserves it. If Toney beats beats Lebedev which I think he will then he can take the division and put a bit of mainstream popularity into it. This move is good for Toney and Boxing. I would not normally support a fighter well into his 40's carrying on but with the state of the division and the fact that I probably regard Toney vs Tarver about the best fight that can be made at CW I am hoping for a big Toney win.

Kinda like seeing your formely smoking College girlfriend squeeze back into her jeans years later. You still know what's there -now- once they come off.
Anyone can achieve a healthy body mass index regardless of what they have left in the tank. Roberto Duran looks a lot better than he did a few years ago, maybe he should make another run at the belt. My dad is 60 and lost 50 lbs over the summer, must be time to start playing competitive tennis again. I loved watching Toney fight, but his decline in recent years hasn't been down to his being a fatass, he was kicking ass for a while in close to the same condition. Now I HOPE he does have something left, I just think that all signs besides sudden weight would suggest it isn't much. Not to mention that the weight loss in itself could be the nail in the coffin. For an old worn fighter like Toney to rapidly change his body composition in one go could cost him dearly against someone as limited as Ledbedev. His pituitary gland is fucked, the guy's body produces no testosterone or growth hormones. He may find out the hard way that the muscle he retains won't be the type he needs. I know he's immensly skilled and Ledbedev isn't whatsoever, but I can't help thinking of Chris Byrd's effort to drop weight a couple years back. And that's someone who never shown major signs of losing it before he shed the weight.

I am excited Miles!
