I thought LCD were better than plasma. We have HD over here which is catching on and many channels produce programmes on it. Hardly ever use the ports. The internet TV’s look like the next big think, forget about the 3D TV yet.

What I read was LCD's have a harder time producing a good black and can get slow with the pixels switching as compared to a more vibrant color of plasma. There was a knock on the early plasmas not having longevity. I think they have progressed beyond that now. LED's are getting a big push now and they say the black's are better, but they have been getting the eye's are bleeding reviews. I read their nick name is "torch light" complains of getting sea sickness after watching for a while. When I compared them in the big store the LED's, LCD's and Plasma's all had great pictures but I could understand the reviews on the LED's because they were the brightest. I understand they can be toned down but I'm not so sure they are worth the extra bucks. I'm expecting to get 5 years out of one with the way technology gets developed. I've hooked up my laptop and streamed some fights across. I watch some of the videos from HBO and they come across great. My daughter is always hooking up her computer so we get use out of the ports.

Smart TV is a must.
Just helped my sister buy a new plasma and the Smart TV is incredible.
I'm actually plotting a 65 inch TV for my new house, I was amazed at just how cheap a good one is. Around £1300 for a massive 3D TV like that seems pretty cheap compared to the £1000 I spent on my first plasma

Hang it on the wall.
I thought 3D TV gave you a headache.
