That first Griffin-Jones Jr fight I think would have ended in Roy winning by stoppage but in terms of the round by round Griffin was hanging with Roy which is something NO ONE ELSE came close to doing during the 90s. You gota respect Griffin's skills for that fact alone.

Through 8 rounds 2 of the 3 judges had Griffin winning the fight and that was including a knockdown he suffered in the 7th. The scores were 77-75, 76-75 and 75-76.
Fuck all this judging against Jones crap. Jones faced Griffin Twice but wanted nlthing to do with Eubank!

Eubank might well have been polite saying Jones might beat him but he also said Watson was a better boxer than him as well. Obviously he doesnt want to come out with "I found a way to win".

As for Griffin being the stronger man, have you not seen how Eubank looked at cruiser? Took on one of the divisionsbiggest punchers and boxed circles around him and dropped and hurt him a few times until his eye closed and the ref stopped it.

Eubank was a fighter who if coming up the ranks 5 years later would have scared the shit out of the champs like Jones and Toney bevause they know they would have had to defend against him. A man who has an awkward style who can take a punch, who has one punch knockout power and who can fight as hard as anyone.
