Boring face off.

Marquez is a good opponent, but for me the weight is all wrong. Manny just wants that told you so KO over Marquez, but it's a hollow and empty gesture. When Pac was developing Marquez schooled him and improved Marquez did the same. Now Pac has adjusted to the weight it just shows him as a bully picking on a smaller man. I hope Marquez shocks everyone, but it's probably too much to ask at 37 and WW.

even though this fight is a for gone conclusion.... you have got to hand it to HBO they are really doing a good job with these shows.

and I have no problem with Marquez getting a big payday before he bows out of a game he has served so well.

Marquez has the right game plan AND has had it all along. The straight right, hes the only fighter to use it effectively against pac. Timing beats speed and JMM has the timing to catch Pac in the middle of those flurries which will cause havoc since no one has been able to do that to pac at higher weight classes.

Its quite boring because both fighters are so laid back and does not want to do trash talking. Both trainers are respectable and they were actually able to acknowledge each ones achievements. Max is funny because he actually wants to do the demo everytime..

Personally I prefer the sitting across a table giving it a bit of needle. It's fine Pac and Marquez not trashing talking due to respect of each other but every fighter respects there opponents and having the needle just adds to the hype.

For me, Pac will stop Marquez inside 6 rounds this time and then who does he fight? The Floyd fight won't happen as it seems Khan will have him next summer. Ortiz is a sitting duck who will get destroyed by Pac and Berto just don't have the skills and no-how to beat Pac.

These guys are too friendly.

Im looking forward to the fight because its a good match up of styles despite the weight but the one thing that makes me thing it could be crap is that they look like mates. Ive seen them singing together and in that show there they were standing by each other almost posing, punches and trying out movements.

Thats not what we wanna see. We wana see them wanting to take the others head off. No friendly gestures and if Pac touches Marquez' gloves as often as he touched Mosleys Ill probably switch over. Cant sit through another 12 rounds of that. Ill be disappointed if Marquez obliges the friendly gestures during the fight.
