Sure he drummed up interest. He was a great carnival barker. With crushing power speed and good boxing skill who did great things at cruiserweight. He had the looks and explosiveness and was brash, definitely COULD have bought legitimate energy to a division that's been monotonously dominated by 2 guys that are neither of the above mentioned things.

I was a big Haye fan supported him watched his fights and was all in and was convinced he would spark out Wlad. Figured he would jump on him and unnerve him Wlads wheels would fall off and it would be the Haye Era and some new life to the heavies.

This guy couldn't be bothered to show up. It was shameful and pathetic and as a fan I'm not to happy about being swindled by a guy who artfully contrived a fight for 3 years and in a fight that was the absolutely biggest that his career could have and he was frightened scared and gutless.
