I believe the joker only counts if you get the outcome right, not the winner.

Actually maybe I did get that wrong. You may have scored 8 points, not six. Since technically you get one point for just choosing the name of the winner, and I don't see anything specific saying you can't just say "insert fighter's name" joker without picking the method they win by (why you'd want to do that...)
