There's a good article on Omar Narvaez. It convinced me a little that he has a slightly better chance than I originally gave him.

I'm sure Omar will come to fight, but he'd better just hope that Donaire doesn't, because Donaire has every advantage in this fight, including size, power, and lightening quick reflexes.

100% slightly better than no chance at all. Where does this win rank against Nonito's other wins? Behind Montiel and Darchinyan but above the rest?

I really don't know, Montiel and Darchinyan were big challenges, even though Narvaez has a fine record in title fights, he doesn't appear to be much of a threat in this one. Donaire just seems to be on a different level, I hope i'm wrong and we see a competitive fight saturday, on paper at least, it looks to be a good matchup.

There's dishing out a beating, and then there's the kind of surgical punishment that requires a scalpel and a saline drip! I'm not predicting that crushing a defeat for Donaire though, as Narvaez is tough and compact, and won't be easy to break down.
