i watched balletto for years since i started going to his gym. (which has since moved). Gary is very technical, he can go 12 rounds easily. I seen him do it, on many occasions. However, i dont feel like the contender does these fighters justice. There is no fight preperation, not only that, these guys train their whole lives to work up to 12 round fights. Now they are told give it all they got in 5. That must scare the hell out of em. I mean, i saw gary head hunt alittle, throw some heymakers... That usually isnt his style. Dont get me wrong, Gary can bang. I once seen him make a guy almost vomit after a body shot. but he usually picks his spots and works certain areas to set his opponent up late. 25 ko's out of 29 wins (30 wins now lol) is not because of luck, or one shot wonders...its because he works the body, gets em weak, makes them drop their hands, then unloads.. Gary does well in the contender. Michael clark from the show gave gary 1 of his 2 losses, and now hes gone, i think thats a confidence boost for gary as well, also the fact that he was called out, and he deliverd.

As far as do we agree with the descision...we kind of have to lol
We arent shown the whole fight, and who knows how each fighter really scored. After the contender 1, we all found out that a few of the fights were completely one sided, but was shown to be close. But from what the "let" us see, gary landed more power punches, and was more consistant than torres. Bravo to gary.
Gary, even during his training at the gym, still took the time to check on every that was working out, give them some pointers, and made everyone feel like we were part of a team of some type. Even the guys who were there just to get a great workout (like myself).
