Default New year's even double in Japan: Caballero-Hosono & Uchiyama-Solis

Pretty good card to end the year..

Can Solis survive 12 rounds against this badass Uchiyama

Hosono isn't bad either... He lost one close decision to Poonsawat Kraetinggym and i know he's going to bring it.. Im surprised Cabal took this fight actually cuz it's dangerous for him..

    Thoughts?

    Both good match-ups

I think Solis lasts the distance with Uchiyama in a very competitive bout. But I'll take Uchiyama by close decision

As for Caballero/ Hosono; I think Hosono will have his moments but Caballero will be a clear winner on the cards

Uchiyama is relentless and Id be impressed if Solis could survive 12 rounds..

Hosono is a good fighter but he's outgunned here. Caba has too much size over this dude and he should be fine as long as he dont get lazy..

Uchiyama need to fight in the states.. There are some good fights to be made at 130.. Salgado won a title via gift decision and Uchiyama should rematch him and unify.. IM sure Salgado wants to avenge that loss as well..

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing Uchiyama/ Salgado 2. But I think Salgado should rematch Mendez 1st. Unfinished business there! Solis has only been stopped by Pac & Gamboa so no shame there. I see him making to the final bell, but like you I also wouldn't be surprised by a late stoppage

I dont know if you remembe this Galaxy but Ive been calling a Mendez UD ever since i joined this forum so this verdict is hella rubbish to me.. It was a classic example of a backyard gift and a rematch is definitely necessary..

Mendez is just flat out better than Salgado and he wins on neutral ground.. Looking at the first fight, i think he could even score a KO next time..

Uchiyama-Mendez would be a perfect clash of styles..

I totally agree with you bro about the decision, 130 is starting to look stacked! So many potentially great match-ups. Broner, Uchiyama, Aoh, Salgado, Perez, Mendez, Magdaleno, Cruz... add in Gamboa & Lopez. Put any of those guys together & we're talking!
