I might be being a little optimistic but I feel there is some potential talent coming up:
Fury
Helenius
Pulev
Mitchell
Perez
Mansour
Etc etc
I wouldn't mind seeing Solis in with either Klitschko again though

well Povetkin doesn't want to face him, Chisora lost to Fury, Fury is still happy facing domestic level fighters, so there's not really anyone left

Fury is young and building himself into a good fighter. He's still got a lot to learn and looks better each time he gets in the ring. Why risk getting beaten now by Wlad which is inevitable at this stage of his career! Give him time, he's picking it up in terms of advancing his career. He's only 23 and that's young for a heavyweight nowadays. Imagine him in 2-3 years time hes going to be a great heavyweight.

Povetkin-Stiverne would be a hell of a match up for a title shot.
I don't think Wlad will have issues with any of the fighters mentioned though...the guy is just on another level.

I think in terms of the crock of shit heavyweights that are around these days he has potential to be seen as a great amongst the fellow heavyweights that fight nowadays. Don't get me wrong he's no Ali or Tyson etc, but I do think in the near future he has the potential to be the best.
However that does show the lack of ability that the heavyweight devision has. I don't see how it's going to get better in the future either. It's a boring weightclass nowadays. Fury brings some character to it and I wish him the best in developing his career. I would love to see him as a world champion one day and I think within 2-3 years he could well be.
I do agree that he needs to step up the competition till we can properly judge him , but so far so good IMO. As I said before he is still young for a heavyweight and I think by 2012 we will see him in with some good fighters.
All I know is that 'The Boz' was the guy Vitali trained to fight before Johnson got injured and pulled out of the Lewis fight. Also 'The Boz' got stopped by Jameel McCline in 2003.
Looking at his record his best wins are: a TKO 2 vs Cliff Couser, TKO 2 vs Roman Greenberg, and a UD vs Oliver McCall. He's 6'3, has a good reach at 81", and his weight fluctuates anywhere from 245 (in '07) to 223 (in '09) to 231 (his last fight). 35 wins and 26 KO's is decent but its not vs a high pedigree of fighter.

You can put big red frilly bows on it and adorn it in gold but coming of a set up farce like Mormeck this is a pos. In an odd way this makes me think even less of Haye![]()
