I like him and I try to support him whenever I can, but it ain't easy. His last fight was a home town fight and I only found out about it 2 days before the event. It also wasn't being shown on PPV or anything, so the only way to see it was to get tickets. Maybe he needs to get a different promoter, because the only way I found out about it was through boxing forums. There weren't even any posters in his/my home town!!

The media also largely ignore him because the state of boxing in Australia doesn't look very good at the moment imo. Mundine is only popular because he was a known rugby player before he became a boxer and he always says stupid shit, so he's always good for a story.

We also never hear about Vic Darchinyan, someone who I think deserves some credit.
