Cotto vs Margarito rematch

I think Cotto struggles with high output fighters and seeing as he cannot hurt Margarito he is going to be worn down again. It will be fun, but Cotto is going to get busted up. I think he will quit with less damage being taken.

If Cotto can target that bad eye of Margacheato's, it could easily be a stoppage win for him. It was badly damaged and it could reoccur. If it flares up the ref/doctor will not have any hesistation in stopping the fight given the type of injury.

If it does go the distance then Cotto will win. Close rounds in this particular fight get scored to Cotto. I believe Marg only wins rounds on the cards if he CLEARLY wins a round. Due to Margaritos chequered past the judges will want Cotto to win, the TV network will want Cotto to win, the ref will want Cotto to win and the fans will want Cotto to win. No one wants to see a cheat rewarded here. Cotto will be favoured on the cards no question.

For those thinking Margarito will stop Cotto then I suggest you put your money down, you can obtain 11/2 on a stoppage. 11/1 on a 9-12 stoppage.

I may take that action. Margo can take a punch and doesn't quit. It will be interesting but if this busts out into a brawl (which it normally does with two fighters of this style) then Margo I think will win. As much as Cotto will want to keep this at a distance Margo does have the ability pressure him into a corner and keep him there for a while. He's got the wing span of a dragon. He does that enough times and Cotto's out. I don't see this going to the scorecards at all. And I for one can tell you how damaging it can be to your mindset when you constantly hit someone with your best shots and they still keep coming forward. Cotto is the fan favorite, but in my opinion he loses this one. But like i said, I could be wrong.

Think Cotto wins this because even though Manny beat both brutally, it was not that recent for Cotto, who has sufficiently recovered and won his fights. I believe Cotto will attack more to the body, like Shane did, and slow down Marg and win by a UD.

Ahhhh I remember the first fight so well, I remember not having an internet connection for some reason at home that night and driving 20 minutes to my office to jump on Saddo after the fight.

I dont think this one will be as exciting as last one as I dont think Margo will have the same punch output and that very well could be the reason that he loses the rematch.

It'll be great to see how the two fighters react to ech other in the ring after everything that has happened after their first fight.

Hope Im wrong, but I think Margacheeeto takes him all the way into battle as he likes it. Good even fight for a while then the harder chin,more to prove stands taller.

If it doesnt go this way and Margo gets wobbled, I dont think they wont stop it real early for him could get nasty or a corner save .
