he claims to have no memory of it and they keep turning down his parole, one of the reasons is not showing remorse. Hard to show remorse for something you can't remember doing.

Clever tv programme, watch it if you can. It's very interesting because many if not all hypnotists claim that they can't make you do anything you wouldnt do in a waking state.

It also challenges the notion of memory, we've all day dreamed and wandered past where we were meant to be / drivers do this all the time, and have no recollection of how they go there.

A guy I went to sschool with in the late 80s was a hypnotist and he said exactly that: you can't get someone to do something they wouldn't normally do while awake. Yes how can he show remorse if he cannot recall it, exactly. He must have principles then, or he'd simply feign the remorse to get out.

    Interesting.

Kidnapped and reprogrammed to do something could work I suppose, over a long length of time

Look at Manson and his troupe I cant remember exactly but I dont think he killed anyone and they did all his deeds for him willingly.
They believed in what they were doing; but I Imagine guilt could block out some prior forced actions if it was against your grain, like shock does.

    I can explain it.
But I cant understand it for you.

    highly sugestiable person.
they imbedded a firing range state
    imbedded a trigger
    imbedded memory loss

the subject here said he imagined/thought he was back at the firing range when he stood up and 'shot' the celeb.

Sirhan also claimed to have periods of memory loss prior to the shooting of RFK.

Ive watched it now. Great thread Missy thanks; really enjoyed watching it on utube.
They wont let us watch channel 4 here ,cause we may nick it contents, (Aussies being POHM's and all that I suppose ).

Who could possibly want to shoot Stephen Fry? Unless they were a total homophobic asswipe?

So Sirhan maybe innocnent? I wonder what would arise if they got this hypnotist to bring him out of the amnesia state via hypnosis; if they could find out who were behind it all if he can be induced to remember?

I bet no one is allowed near him if that is the case.

I suppose it depends whether you believe these conditions stay with you through life or if you need a specific key to unlock it OR the memory blocks would fade....in fact if both the block & key faded wouldnt that amount to having no genuine memory?

I have a headache with thinking

Sirhan had an obsession with Bobby Kennedy because he thought RFK was radically pro-Israel and helping the "Jews". Sirhan wasn't "brainwashed" by anyone, he was just another Palestinian/mid-eastern born looney with an obsession, and sub-consciously seeking the negative attention he used to get from his abusive father.
