It was just the injury that slowed Toney down, I wouldnt mind seeing those two against each other now just for the sake of two legends past it trying to prove who is better with hardly nothing left!

no way, he was injured, but he still is done as a boxer. he should retire

Did you see Jones vs. Hopkins II ? It was absolutely dreadful.

The one word I could think of to describe a Jones vs. Toney match now would be PITIFUL.

That said, if they need the money that bad then they should fight one another. Probably a very good payday for each of them compared to what else is out there.

I'm with you, I'd have absolutely no interest in seeing it

It wouldnt be a fight, but a show. Both are C class fighters now, and this would most likely be a PPV.

Lets see Holmes vs Foreman rather than this!

I guess it COULD happen. The question is: why

Toney was clearly injured and it seems to have been worse than many thought it might be too. Toney isn't quite done yet and I'm willing to give Toney a final throw of the dice.

He will knock out Jones Jr.

Good question. I think it would resemble a 40 year old Ali versus a 50 year old Jimmy Young. Two guys with nothing at all left, moving in slow motion and neither able to knock the other out.

It would still be fun to watch because you know those two hate each other
