Unfortunately I believe you are correct.

    Not me, ud cotto

It will be close but he'll pip it

Dont think the fight will be as good as the first one, which would be a shame
I don't think Cotto has the chin or the stamina to stand up to Margarito's relentless pressure.
I think Margarito has slipped further than Cotto coming into this fight. I see Cotto winning a decision or possibly stopping him late

I initially thought leaving Manny Stewart before the fight was a stupid move, and it may still prove to be Cotto's undoing. But I'm hearing good things about his training with this new Cuban guy. Apparently they're working hard on his stamina, and the Cuban (don't remember his name right off hand) is also putting him through some unorthodox training methods. Let's hope it works.

Not sure if I'm the only one but I see Cotto dominating this fight

I'm a little worried about the psychological aspect, but I sure hope you're right.

Sure there are concerns but Margarito has looked very ordinary since the 1st Cotto fight. I'm sure the damage from that fight, followed by Mosley's beating, the layoff, the brutal battering at the hands of Pacquiao have take there toll on Margarito also

You know, I would say exactly the same thing about Cotto. He's fought worse competition than Margarito, but IMO has looked just as bad.

A shaky chin and a career marked by stamina problems have me picked against Cotto, but I'd love him to prove me wrong.

You could be right, I'd have there competition as similar though since they 1st fought. I think the solid outing against Mayorga will be beneficial to Cotto coming into this fight, whereas Margarito may still have some lingering effects from Pacquio's drumming

    You and me both.

Of course I have to have faith in my guy, and believe that he'll get his revenge, but that doesn't mean that I'm not nervous as fuck about this fight. I will be a complete wreck the week of the fight, and will most certainly be a little scared to watch the fight itself.

Yep, I was like wtf are you thinking Miguel with getting rid of Manny, it didn't work out too good the last time you did that before a big fight. That, and I know nothing about his new trainer Diaz, but like you I've been hearing and seeing some good reports coming out of his camp.

In case you didn't see this video, here is some coverage of his training, and I'm glad to see and hear that they are working hard on his endurance. Laughed at, but liked how he made himself dizzy, and then started fighting in order to get accustomed to a situation where if he is rocked, he can react despite the feelings of dizziness and disorientation he may be experiencing. Never seen him do that before.

I had to watch this with Danny so he could translate for me.

If you look to the right of the video you will see some others to watch.

Here's a teaser video of HBO's Face-Off for the fight. Can't wait to see the whole episode.

What an opportunistic move by Cotto.. He had to wait until Margarito was badly beaten ( Orbital bone injuries stays forever ) to take a rematch..

He tried to get an advantage by calling a catchweight but that didnt work so now he settles for 153.. wtf is is 153.. smh

Even if he does win, he should get partial credit.

    Margarito all day baby..

He's not trying to get credit though. He's trying to beat up someone he feels seriously wronged him while making several million dollars in the process. I don't think he's concerned about fairness or credibility.

I don't think it's an opportunistic move by Cotto. You have to realize that this will be Margarito's only second fight in the US after coming off a suspension. There wasn't any earlier opportunity for Cotto to fight Margarito.

I see this as a close fight, wants Cotto to win but thinks Margarito will win. So, for me, Cotto gets full credit if he wins.

Partial credit my ass. If anything, he should have stayed firm on 147. Jr. middle is not Miguel's best weight, given his lack of height. And oh yeah... I'm sure Cotto waited until Margarito got his eye socket blown out before taking a rematch. Cotto, who's never ducked anyone in his entire life.
