Excited about this bout, looks like Ward is going the cerebral route.

Always has, always will.

Definately one of those fighters with a true 'win' mentality; He's just not interested in playing silly bollocks, or showing off or actually exuberating any more flair than is necessary to win.

It's true he doesn't take advantage of his physical gifts as much as he could. He would afford himself the luxury of actually enjoying himself if he did but that's not his style, not his plan... He's a very focused and cock sure guy.
They say youth is wasted on the young, I think he'd say experience is wasted on the old... Andre Ward has an old head and I think he is fighting as he means to go on. His body is in immaculate condition and more importantly his skills are engineered to last.

If it's in his plans to, he can stick around for a LONG time.

Like I say, it all depends on what is in his mind. He is a man of God and has obviously set himself a path - a means to and end from which he never deviates from. His win mentality is actually his comfort zone, it's quite scary. I think Froch is in for a ridiculously embarrassing beatdown.

I don't consider Ward slick. Is that just me? I see him as defensive/cagey like Hopkins, but Hopkins is different than say Mayweather or Toney in his defensive approach. Maybe I'm wrong.

Dirrell is very fast and I can't stand him but there is no doubting his speed , I'd say very similar speed to rjj.
If froch can corner ward then ward will struggle I mean I wouldn't want to be in a corner with froch coming towards me. Froch has accumulative power in his combos and that backs any fighter off.
