The advanced stages of stimulant addiction can look a lot like schizophrenia, but usually people who are suffering from schizophrenia and are unmedicated try to self medicate with drugs and alcohol. either way Charlie is a sick puppy and though people like to laugh and make fun of the kid he does need some serious help.

I boxed a guy who was mentally ill (though nobody told me at the time) he was a former Golden Gloves winner (I'm guessing at the state level...because I totally whipped his ass) and though he seemed like a good regular enough guy, shortly after our one and only sparring session he ended up stabbing his step father to death. Oh also I was told he was on crack later too...but hey, what are ya gonna do. Makes me feel kind of good having destroyed a murderer in the boxing ring, but on the other hand I feel bad because with proper help and medication he may not have been a murderer at all.

People keep on referring to medication to help his problems, but why would meds help him? It's not always the solution to a problem, medication might be a short term solver but long term could be a lot more damaging. He surely needs help, but that help needs to come from his family and get him to stop doing all of this Internet boxing hype. It's the people who truely care for him need to help him.
