I presume those cards mean 10-4, 8-4-2 and 8-3-3?

I just watched this fight on ESPN and had Frazier clearly up after 14. I had it 9-5.

There were only 2 close rounds where I had trouble finding a winner but tbh I had to give them both to Frazier cos he was controlling the pace of the fight, putting extra effort in and throwing more. But if you score those 2 close ones to Ali you can have a 7-7. 8-6 Frazier is fine too. I thought Frazier outworked and outhustled Ali for the most part. Did judges just give rounds to Ali cos he was Ali or something?

I dont see how Ali is ahead let alone walking it? Frazier clearly won 7 rounds for me, totally blitzed all the mid rounds imo.
I had Ali ahead but not by much, I felt his accuracy and sharp punching earned him most the early rounds, then Frazier came back strong and made up for lost ground, IMO the fight was dead even, the way it ended just lets you know how close it was

Frazier basically blind has his corner throw in the towel unknowing of the fact that Ali wasn't planning on coming out for the 15th, both men were equal rivals, and although Ali earned two victories IMO neither was really better than the other when it came to pitting just the two of them against each other
Yes, they just seemed to have styles that evened each other out. Ali might have the edge in terms of official wins, but in terms of overall rounds won, they are pretty neck and neck.

I don't know why they had to fight in Manilla, the place is a cauldron at its coolest. Not sensible to have a 15 round HW fight there at all.
