There were many, many people on this forum who legitimately thought Ortiz would be tougher for Mayweather than Marquez would be for Manny and who thought Manny was too big and too much better at this weight etc. that Marquez couldn't compete with him. There were a lot of people who thought Manny was a punk for fighting this fight above 135 and 140 and that he wasn't giving Marquez a fair shake. I knew from day one this was totally wrong. Read all my posts. It didn't make any sense to me. Marquez had warred with Manny twice. Suddenly, he won't be able to compete. No way. Marquez has Manny's number. Styles make fights. Manny can't fight counter punchers.
Dont even trip, my man.. I knew that " you knew "..I can't say the same about alot of these other guys though..
That's why we got to think on our own rather than following the popular belief. People would come to conclusion just because so and so said so, or this trainer and that trainer said so... Hey ill just go that way because everyone else is... <<< that's a wrong way of thinking but it happens way too often..
You didn't have to post in it. You made that choice...
For anyone who knows me and has been around for a long time knows that I like to give people shit after they've been proven wrong.
You can say all you want and try and talk down to me and disrespect me all you want. Truth is I've been around long enough not to let that bother me.
It's having a little fun here and making people with whom I've dabated with eat their own words... I did the same thing after Pac beat SSM.

Mars_ax is one of the dudes who said Pacman knocks marquez out within 6 so i can see why this thread got his feelings hurt.. acting like a little broad.. lol
He also claims that Canelo knocks out Kermit in 6..
Lack of knowledge..smh
The funny thing is, I figured Juan had no realistic way of slowing Manny down since he could only meet Diaz and Katsidis head on, fighting at thier pace and getting rocked/ decked in the process... Like Missy said, recent form but I guess the key thing is how Diaz fared in thier second fight, not that he was any worse but that he was so tentative... I guess that is what has happene to Manny; over three fights he in many ways has become more and more tentative due to Juans own ability to counter punch in such a courageous way... I'm still scratching my head as to what Manny was upto i am genuinely glad that Juan put up such a valiant effort but something just doesn't sit right with me about Manny.
I feel like he could of done more.
Well said Mick.
Now if only Marquez hadn't blatantly ducked Naz he'd be a legend.
