Absolutely astonishing. Honestly, my mind is being blown by some of the things I am hearing in the wake of this fight. So now we have to consider that Marquez wasn't accidentally getting tangled with Manny. As if Marquez is going to have the idea of stamping on Manny's feet on his mind whilst Manny is motoring in at a hundred miles an hour. Your argument is fundamentally absurd though. To even consider that Marquez was purposely using foul play is utterly demented. I'm glad that you accept that Manny lost and respect that, but to even think that Marquez was purposely and without even so much as looking jumping all over the boots of Manny is silly. Surely you can see that.

Just accept the loss for what it was and move on. Fighters lose fights, it happens to the best of them, but there is no use crying foul in what was actually a remarkably clean fight. Neither Marquez nor Manny ever fights dirty and that is one of the pleasures in seeing them fight one another. There is no point in bringing down what was really a fantastic display from Marquez on trivial points such as the occasional tangle of feet.

Several foot tangles is not going to determine the course of a fight and to purposely do so could very well have seen Marquez slip and end up on his back. Nobody would ever seriously consider such an approach and nothing in Marquez's history has ever suggested serious foul play. Now if we are talking Barrera, Hopkins or Hatton then fair enough, but not Marquez and in such an absurd way too.
