Default Big Fights in the UK

It seemed like ages since we had a big fight in the UK and then Burns-Katsidis happened. Do you think if Froch beats Ward he could convince Bute to fight him here at Wembley or Nottingham? Froch is surely due a fight on home soil but even if he beats Ward I'm not sure Bute comes here. There is talk of Amir Khan fighting Matthew Hatton in the UK but I would much rather he fight Bradley. The trouble is even if he convinces Timothy Bradley to fight him, what are the chances of it happening in Britain? Who would you like to see fight in Great Britain?

Here's what will what happen if Froch wins the Super Six and wants to fight Bute:

Froch won't want to fight Bute in Montreal or Quebec City because the place will be sold out with raucous Bute fans, the atmosphere will be electric, and Froch will be worried that the hometown ref and judges will be biased in favor of Bute.
So instead, they'll end up fighting in a half-empty arena in Atlantic City where no one particularly cares about Bute or Froch, because that's the screwed-up and fan-unfriendly way that boxing operates.

FROCH-KESSLER would be a lot of fun.

If Froch can beat Ward and if (when) Kessler beats Stieglitz, then it'd be HUGE. It'd be for 3 world titles + Ring belt AND a rematch all in one. Fuck Bute. Hes good but Froch should go for Kessler, Froch fights away from home too much and he'd have to go to Canada to do that fight.

I'd love to see Khan-Brook but I think thats wishful thinking.

If anyone follows Kevin Mitchell on twitter you'll know he's working overtime badgering everyone to make the fight with burns happen. I'd love to see it come off. Don't think I could pick a winner right now!

Another would be khan-brook, but like already stated I can't see that coming off any time soon.

MItchell is a bit of a headcase so it really depends on which version shows up..

Assuming he hasn't been smoking too much weed and spending too much time on twitter..

If he comes in-shape mentally and physically, he would beat Burns easily imo... easy work..

Two totally different class of fighters..

That's the point I dont think he is mentally right in the head,Burn's is mentally strong and that will win him the fight.

Couldn't have put it better myself

Froch deserves a big fight in the UK. Even if they both lose i'd still want it to be honest. Coming off losses they would both be even more fired up may have lost some of it's shine but Froch would still be hell bent on revenge.

Mitchell's fight against Murray demonstrated just how well Mitchell can box when his mind is on the job. I can see him putting Burns down somewhere in the fight but Ricky Burns just like the Martinez fight would get back up again, he may not hit as hard as Mitchell but his conditioning and ability to box to instruction is beyond question. Interesting fight and with the England - Scotland thing thrown in should sell well and be great atmosphere. I can't pick a winner. Khan - Brook is another good fight but it would be great to see a Brit against a fighter from elsewhere, that everyone could get behind. Froch v Bute may not realistically happen here but Froch - Kessler great call J_C, would be a massive draw could fill a stadium and be great fun.

There are a lot of big fights coming up mostly on Sky, hope Froch beats ward but doubt it and think he will lose a unanimous decision. Khan should beat win his next fight and I would love for him to fight Brooks. Would also love to see Barker v Macklin and Fury v Audley.

I agree and think Perez might be too quick and accurate for Fury.KO round ,7.
