I don't recall John fighting an true elite fighter since marquez or maybe i just haven't followed the lower weight devisions much. He should beat Dib if the fight does happen.

He Who Is Brave Is Free
Wisdom, compassion and courage are the three universally recognised moral qualities of men.
Anyone else see Khan's shout out to 'Billy Dip' after successfully defending his title. Brilliant.

Mannnn I knew Billy Dib was a chump. He just rejected 700k demand for Chris John clash...

It wasn't much of a compelling fight anyway to be honest. If Dibb really wanted to step up that is the kind of money he'll need to pay John. My problem with John is he seems to be pricing himself out of significant fights because he can get $500k in Indonesia per fight.
You know what fight I believe makes a lot of sense and could generate $ interest in the US? Nonito Donaire if and when he moves up. I imagine he is being paid a little bit above that now.
Here, it is again, Sampson Lefkowitz saying Gamboa fights etc. could be made easily on HBO in the US: Chris John's Adviser Fires Back at Team Billy Dib's Stance - Boxing News But, we still haven't got even one. John's only had two fights in the US over his whole career and they were against Rocky Jaurez. The Dragon will never get the credit he deserves until he comes over here and faces a CHAMPION.
Im a huge fan of John and all but what i dont get is.....he's willing to offer that bum Dib almost a million dollars for a fight rather than making that offer to a relevant fighter like the Gamboas and the Lopezs of the division..
His talents can't go to waste like this. It's about that time to fight somebody who can add to his legacy..
