I find Mr Williams boring, to me he is a bit of
a hit it and hop it fighter.
Yes skillfull he can punch a bit, but his chin is
like glass, hit him on it and down he go's.?

I'm with Hulk, I too feel the Bundrage fight is an easier win. If definitely like to see Molina get the opportunity because he deserves it, but if I'm advising P.Wil it's Bundrage all the way

I actually think Molina is the smarter fight for a guy coming off a knock out loss and a one-sided beating. Bundrage is the worse boxer, but he has some power and if I am looking out for WIlliams, I don't want to see his chin get tested again right away.
Molina is a better fighter than Bundrage, but he has no power. His high work-rate is what won him the fight against Cintron, but there is no way he'll out-work Williams.
If he takes the Molina fight and wins, his stock will rise a lot faster than if he beats Bundrage, and there is little chance of him getting hurt or knocked out.

I agree with some posters above.. If Williams wants a title, he needs to go for K9 at all costs. I can't believe a fighter like K9 is a titleholder in the first place.lol Paul needs to snatch that title away cuz K9 has no business getting anywhere near a title.. It brings down the belt's value.
I think he's done at the top though. It doesn't seem like he's willing to make adjustments and it's a bit too late for that anyways so might as well match him up carefully with foes who suits his style.
Win a title from K9, defend it once against a big name, and call it a day...
If he continues to fight big names with that wreckless style, he's in for more vicious knockout losses..
I agree. Winning a title will be the way to go. If Williams get a title and try to unify, he could be in for a big payday.
With Alvarez low output against Gomez, Williams work rate could beat him. Williams size and length over Cotto, I'll go with Williams beating Cotto too. And there's always a revenge factor in fighting Margarito. And I'm not counting Cintron out in beating Alvarez this weekend. Cintron and Williams got unfinished business.

I think too many are putting too much stock in the ko loss to Martinez. It was a perfect shot & anyone would have been out if hit by it. Williams has taken big shots from other fighters (including Martinez in the 1st fight) & withstood them. I think his chin is alright but I think he should stay away from southpaws.
I'd give Williams credit for facing either guy, I just think stylistically Bundrage is perfect for Williams

You could call him a rugrat, why because he spends
time on the floor.![]()

Williams is far from boring.
You get a good fight with him everytime he fights because he isn't afraid to engage and is willing take some to give some.
The guy has also been stopped once against Martinez which was a perfectly well connected shot. No fighter around the weight class could take that and get up.
Besides that he's had his chin tested against the likes of Martinez ( first fight), Margarito, Cintron, Quintana and Matthysse who are good to decent punchers and he's done very well.
His chin is far from glass especially considering the amount of shots he takes every fight he's in.
