Molina is a better fighter than Bundrage, but he has no power. His high work-rate is what won him the fight against Cintron, but there is no way he'll out-work Williams.

If he takes the Molina fight and wins, his stock will rise a lot faster than if he beats Bundrage, and there is little chance of him getting hurt or knocked out.

I agree with some posters above.. If Williams wants a title, he needs to go for K9 at all costs. I can't believe a fighter like K9 is a titleholder in the first place.lol Paul needs to snatch that title away cuz K9 has no business getting anywhere near a title.. It brings down the belt's value.

I think he's done at the top though. It doesn't seem like he's willing to make adjustments and it's a bit too late for that anyways so might as well match him up carefully with foes who suits his style.

Win a title from K9, defend it once against a big name, and call it a day...

If he continues to fight big names with that wreckless style, he's in for more vicious knockout losses..

I agree. Winning a title will be the way to go. If Williams get a title and try to unify, he could be in for a big payday.
With Alvarez low output against Gomez, Williams work rate could beat him. Williams size and length over Cotto, I'll go with Williams beating Cotto too. And there's always a revenge factor in fighting Margarito. And I'm not counting Cintron out in beating Alvarez this weekend. Cintron and Williams got unfinished business.

All the hype that came with Williams, I was thinking
he was the second coming of Tommy Hearns.?
But he was no were near a Hearns, he is a good fighter
    but no great one?
Just one more over hyped fighter very much so.

There was a rematch and he was viciously knocked out. His people don't want anything to do with Martinez anymore or as I say below, any other southpaw (see the Lara fight for an example). It would be suicide man. As far as Paul Williams, I'm not ready yet to say he is shot, but I will say that I would never bet on Paul against a southpaw. Seems to be his kriptonite. I am interested in seeing him with a orthodox fighter though. He wouldn't be a bad a choice as an opponent for Canelo right now.

One minutes Paul Williams was the flavour of the month and deadly challenger to Floyd after he beat Margarito and Martinez and then he is a boring fighter after being KO’ed by Sergio and winning a controversial decision in his last fight. Think he is some where in between and can win a world title and be a dangerous fighter if he is handled right.

    Agree with above.

So paul has trouble with southpaws i would still like to see a third fight.
He beat martinez already he deserves another shot.
His promoters not doing very well in promoting paul to his full extent and i dont think a shot which would knock out a horse should propell martinez into this god like figure!

Arguably a lucky swinging flurry shot?

Yeah but Williams hasn't done himself any favours by looking awful & then getting the controversial decision over Lara. But I don't think he has slipped as far as some are suggesting. Just match him properly & stay away from southpaws

Williams always got hit. Southpaw or whatever. Go back and please watch his fights. Paul have no defense!!! Point blank!!! He love to brawl. Which would shorten his career.
Anyone with POWER, have a chance in beating Paul, since the glass been cracked by Martinez.

Why is it when people that have shown a strong chin their entire career get knocked out by a haymaker they never saw coming they suddenly have a glass jaw?

May as well say Duran had a glass chin for being knocked out by Hearns

I couldn't agree more. Martinez is the only person to legitimately put Paul down, which he did twice by the way. Lara didn't put him down. Margarito didn't put him down. Winky didn't put him down. Paul just got nailed with a tough shot that night in Atlantic City.
