DeGale's recent fights have proved they're pushing him too fast if anything.

Sometimes the promoters can't win.

Let him get a few 10/12 rounders under his belt.

Surely a fighter ranked 160 in the world and #3 in Spain isn't an acceptable championship fight.

Degale just about won his last fight, it was a hard a brutal fight. James needs some learning fights to gain more experience, develop his skills and confidence. Just glad he is fighting so soon after winning the title.

We know he's only had 12 fights. But at the end ov the day he is European champion he now needs to b boxing at that level at least. If they thought he still needed 5 or six learning fights against bums why did they go for the European.
