Make some investments with the local cartel and live off the fat of the land.

Margarito can live happily knowing the fact that he beat a prime cotto to take his virginity.

Cotto beat a one eyed handicap tonight, but partial credit to him for doing what he was supposed to do.

The boy said he's 100%. Margarito's eye will probably heal; his reputation won't. Per ESPN poll, 75% of people thought Margarito cheated in the first fight, and after tonight, at least that many think he wouldn't have won a fair first fight, and whether it's true or not, he knows that's what people think. That's still going to be rubbing his ass raw in 50 years in the retirement home.

Margarito will likely need a long time to let that eye heal. I struggle to see it holding against anyone. The way it went so quickly here is testament to the fact that though his eye and bone is fine, the tissue just doesn't hold up to repeated punching and when you fight like Margarito that is going to be a big handicap.

He's getting older now anyway and as a pressure fighter, he is unlikely to get better. He has probably banked and should enjoy having been able to make these last few paydays. No need to keep on butchering that eye. One day it could give out.

I'd say he'll count his millions he made from his last two fights and laugh all the way to the bank.

Say Goodnight to the Bad Guy.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Rest, recuperate and have one last fight saying goodbye to the local fans.

Well, I give Cotto FULL credit for:

    1. Giving the convicted cheater a chance to earn another payday, something he didn't have to do.

    2. Kicking the cheater's ass, and showing the world that the first fight was tainted. It's painfully obvious now that Margacheato had been using plaster since BEFORE the Mosley fight.

    3. Staring down Margacheato for the cheating scumbag he is. Then, so the whole MSG crowd could hear, says: "Margarito means NOTHING to me."

We hear you champ. He means even less to us.
