You gotta figure that the judges may give this to Agbeko, just because of what happened in the 1st fight.

A UD for Mares 118-110 X 3.
Good win for Mares, now onward to the HBO fights.
Mares. 118-110 on all judges' scorecards.
I kind of found it sort of amazing Agbeko's answer for not throwing the right, he said he had to throw right right carefully because Mares was a good counter puncher, yet that mindset didn't stop him from throwing all those wild left hooks early. He didn't worry about getting countered with his wildest punch but he stopped and was considerate with his straightest.
nice stare down between Froch and Ward. It's hard to find a fighter that can admit he can be knocked out and has been hurt. Is it me or does Ward remind anyone of a professor? Doesn't seem like him and Froch dislike each other either. It was a good staredown with fighters that respect each other but you can feel the tension. Nothing fake about all that.
Well on his way to becoming a legend in the ring, too. He doesn't come close to losing fights.
I thought that fight was much closer than 118-110. I still give Mares the win, but not that wide of a margin.
Sad to hear Vic doing so badly, normally an exciting all action style, a bit late in the day to learn how to have a plan B from all accounts.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
This fight was on Prime Time, anyone watch it over here in the UK. We have too many channels that we have to pay for to watch boxing over here. You guys in the US simply get ripped off to watch a PPV event.
