wouldn't be shocked if now he and Holyfield decided to take it to the ring, I remember when this fight was being mentioned after Jones won his WBA HW title, both are so desperate to keep going on in the ring wouldn't surprise me one bit to see them actually go through with it now

You'd think these old farts would be tired of getting hit upside by now. It's all gotta be about money at this point, because I feel sure Holyfield & Jones aren't doing it for glory, or their love of boxing.

I disagree..you really think Roy is strapped for cash with his HBO gig? I dont imagine its millions but he aint starvin. How much you think he's gonna get fighting some 14-5 guy?? I actually believe him when he says he just loves fighting..why else would you put on this circus act after a hall of fame career and diminish your achievments? This is no way about the money..

then why did he go on record and say that (and I quote) "It's not fun anymore" after getting his ass handed to him by Tarver and Johnson?

Holyfield has known money issues but just cause Jones might be getting a steady paycheck on HBO doesn't mean he's rolling in the dough, he's earning plenty seeing how he's his own promoter and manager so he gets a bigger cut of his share, IMO it's a mixture of both things, the money and the inability to let go of their former glory, IMO it's not so much that he loves to fight it's his EGO that doesn't let him walk away, same as Holyfield
