    Are you on E's?

Calling a knockdown in the first, which was more of a coming together.

Deciding not to call any breaks after about round 4

Deciding to shout at Khan instead of calling breaks - whilst still letting Peterson throw punches.

Not separating fighters properly when there was a clinch.

    Am I on drugs? Erm...nope.

The ref was right as Khan was continually pushing at a fighter who was trying to fight inside. I have never seen a fighter invite the blow job as much as Khan did today. "Lean on me Lamont. Get a taste of this". Kinky devil!

If a fighter is free and wailing away inside then let him, inside fighting is an art and not a crime.

The ref was GOOD and the docked points justified. Khan fought like a plank and deserved what he got. He wilts under pressure and it showed again.

That's not really my point. Inside fighting is fine. But the referee wasn't decisive or consistent with allowing it.

The first four or 5 rounds, he called break decisively.

After that, he would go to call a break, but stop halfway and and just yell stuff at Khan. That's not good refereeing. There were times were Khan was completely turned around on the ropes, and he still didn't call break. The odd time that he did, he didn't push either of the fighters back. This favoured Peteron hugely because he was the aggressor.

I don't really see what Khan could have done any different really. It was a small ring and Peterson kept charging at him. Khan did the smart thing by holding, but the referee seemed to work everything into Peterson's favour. Maybe not intentionally, but it was a bit odd imo.

You have to let the fighters work inside and if one person is holding and the other is making a go of it, then you should let him do a little work. Peterson wanted to fight, Khan didn't and this is fighting at the end of the day. I don't think it should be an option to push someone down all the time or push someone away. Just fight. It's Khan's own fault that he is so limited inside.

Well i wonder were this leaves Bradley now should he fight the winner of the rematch or try his hand at 147. I am not sure seems the 140 division talent is all going to a higher profile divsion it seems.

Bradley must be laughing his ass off right now.

BTW I wonder if Pac will come and say who he thought won just as Khan said he thought Marquez beat him

Say what you want about Pac, but he isn't that slimy.

The ref did an okay job. It's not like he's Joe Cortez, whom the Khan supporters didn't have a problem with in the Maidana fight. Which was a lot worse than this fight.

I don't know about that. Unless he gets the Pac fight, which he shouldn't, it just means Khan's a lesser payday now than before. Who else is Bradley going to fight? Best shot is the Berto-Ortiz winner, which I think is unlikely. He's definitely not getting a Mayweather fight. I mean, he clearly has got to be considered #1 at 140 again, but what does he get for that and a bag of chips?

I don't imagine Gamboa was laughing when JuanMa lost either.

I wonder if all those who said Bradley was ducking Khan still feel that way now. Khan's a good fighter, but he was being a bit overrated, the Peterson fight clearly shows that, it also shows that Bradley is the best fighter in the Jr. Welterweight division.

Yep i still feel that way. Peterson won tonight and i'm not taking anything away from that performance by suggesting Khan underestimated him and got his game plan wrong. In a rematch Khan beats Peterson, and i still stand by my prediction that if Khan ever meets Bradley. Khan stops Bradley, early..with ease. Respect to Peterson though couldn't have gone to a more deserving guy. Post fight Khan let himself down with his whingeing but he is a young guy defending his title away from home and was obviously disappointed. It's a loss. He tried to get all macho rather than boxing and frustrated by Peterson's relentlessness, got real messy and fouled despite numerous warnings. He will be back and has no reason to hang his head.
