The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be

I never really cared to much for Segura. He was a loss waiting to happen. This fight was never gonna be decided by him. It all depended on Viloria. If he was on his game he would cruise to a win. It he wasn't he wouldn't of made it out the 2nd. Unfortunately for Segura he was.

Segura's best win will always be his wins vs Calderon, especially the first win cause Calderon still had something left in the tank (although not much), but even in that fight if Calderon actually had power he probably would have stopped Segura with the number of clean "hard" punches he was landing on him, I have always said it and will say it again, if Calderon had any real power to go along with his blitzing speed, movement, and defense he would have easily gone down as one of the top 3 guys (along with Lopez and Carbajal) at 105 and 108 in the history of the sport, this is a great win for Viloria and I honestly hope he fights like this more often

If Viloria beats Marquez or Wonjongkam, he has a decent claim to top ten p4p status, which would mean there are three boxers of Philipino heritage in the top ten. Pretty wild.

Spot on. Brian really needs a win in his next fight to cement his goal of being a p4p contender, otherwise too many inconsistencies ruin his otherwise stellar record. He's been gifted with tremendous natural talent, it's criminal if he won't use them if he plans to make boxing his main profession.
Here's hoping a pongsaklek or marquez vs viloria fight gets made. I really want to see viloria at his absolute best.
Brian needs to be an underdog all his life if he ever plans to achieve boxing stardom.
