Can anyone shed any light on what happend to the Croat after his loss to Lennox Lewis. I heard that he had some kind of muscle wasting problem and now weights around 140lbs!!!

He retired with a record of 27-1 (22) and fought well against Len. Plus his missus was an absolute Stunner!!!

I heard somewhere that he got in trouble with the Law, cant remember what it was about and I cant remember if he went to prison or anything, just remember something about him getting arrested.

Mavorvic became very ill, with a muscle wasting disease, and by all accounts, this 224lbs+ Gentleman, lost more than 70lbs, while fighting the disease.

Although Mavorvic recovered, he was advised not to box again, and retired.

Any further news on Mavrovic. Am rewatching Lewis' career and big ol' Mavrovic did himself proud. Trained by none other than Darkie Smith as well!!
