Not too naive to believe that if Khan loses another fight his "marketability" won't go straight into the toilet.
Well it depends how he loses.

If he loses his next fight and has HBO thanking him for being involved in yet ANOTHER great fight and has the worlds boxing media all printing he's been in yet ANOTHER FOTY candidate, his marketability will be just fine
So I take it that you thought Khan's fights with Maidana & Peterson were FOTY candidates, I respectfully disagree. I don't doubt that Khan has some market value left, (there's no accounting for the taste of some boxing fans) but unless he looks somewhat impressive and/or wins his next couple fights, it's going to vanish.
    See what ono just posted.

Larry Merchant THANKED Khan for a great fight. Influential boxing writers have all reported that Khan was in a FOTY candidate.

Whether or not you think Khan is worth watching is irrelevant. You're clearly in a small minority. The TV networks, sports media and MOST boxing fans clearly ENJOY his fights. And want more.

Fair enough, i'm probably in a minority, that's nothing new for me, but every blue moon or so, i'm actually right about something. Even a blind squirrel can occasionally find an acorn.

I just don't see Khan's marketability/credibility staying the same after the loss to Peterson, and a loss in the rematch would diminish it even further.

Nope nobody is interested in Khan anymore.

Who is this thread (that you felt the need to start) about again?

Concerning the squirrel, yes he probably would, but unlike you he wouldn't stick it in his nose.

Bilbo, when did Floyd tweet about the Khan fight?? I've checked his page and can't find anything.

I'm not looking for ammo to use against Khan or anything like that, I actually agree with with pretty much everything you've said. It's just I'm new to Twitter and I haven't quite sussed all this hash tag retweet bollocks yet. Did PBF make these comments somewhere other than on his own page?

Hey Rantacat I can't find them now. I think they were linked on boxingtalk immediately after the fight.

It was a typically insightful Floyd tweet which went something 'fuck Joe Cooper, that dumb ass black ni@#a fucking ruined that fight' or words to that effect.

Is all the pubescent name calling and cute/clever little insulting innuendos about my lack of intelligence suppose to be bothering me Bibbo? Seriously old boy, ad hominem attacks and/or insults are the last refuge of someone with a childish mentality who's lost an argument. It just makes 'you' look like the fucking fool, and not me.

Back on permanent ignore for you Bibbo, and even though I won't be reading it, please feel free to respond and continue making an arse out of yourself.
