I figure he'll have a warm up fight and then I think Shane's best option is the winner of Ortiz-Berto II which IMO would be a great fight for him no matter the winner.

I may be in the minority but I've always thought a Mosley-Paul Williams match seemed a good idea. Also he could call out Zab Judah...not title fights or fights that people have been screaming for but I think the style match ups are interesting.

Mosley vs Mike Jones before Jones moves up to the very top teir

Damn people forget fast. Shane lost to the top 2 men on the planet right now. And he didn't lose his fire, he was just getting beaten to the punch and got gunshy.

Mosley is still a top fighter and definitely has a few good fights left. He has as much left as Marquez did after not looking good for a few fights. He's still a beast.

Good choices. But I can't see him beating Williams. If he get gunshy against Paul, say goodnight!!

    I'll also say K9

I think it is the way that he lost to Floyd and Manny that irks people, he promised more and should have at least went for it but he did not. It was not that he could not attack Manny, it was the fact that he actually backed off and fought a negative fight which is unlike Shane. He will start again and build back his credibility.

I have always been a Shane Mosley fan, so much so that i believe he is one of the top 5 Lightweight Champions of all time. Could you imagine prime Mosley fighting prime Duran?
His first fight with DLH at 147lb was a magnificent effort and he won that fight by sheer unstoppable force. He has never been the same since the Forrest fights.

He has gone on way too long, we all should not have such short memories. Obviously Mosley has some money problems and his misses must be taking him to the cleaners.
He is still capable of beating the second tier fighters at 147 or 154, but i hope he can squeeze in a couple of wins and then give it away next year. Forget the Floyd and Pac fights, if those guys fought the Mosley of 2000 then they get a real fight on their hands.
I'll say this, Floyd does not beat Mosley at lightweight!
