I was talking out of my ass, sorry Miles.. I dont deny some of your views but it's just that the silverblack gorilla leaps outa me whenever I hear something negative about Koreans. It's an instinctive reaction.

Frankly, I agree with some of the things you said because I myself stopped listening to Kpop back in 1994 cuz it started to turn into a joke. But the way you put it, it just sounded like a diss so i just reacted.. No hard feelings Miles..

No, I don't say it just to diss. I just don't like those dramas or music. The Mrs might watch them, but I don't. Each to their own. I criticise pop Idol, but it's not an anti Britain slur. I just don't like it.

Wecan be critical about things without getting defensive on a nationalistic level. Korea has it's great points which I love. It is my home and Koreans are my family, but of course life isn't perfect. I just don't mind pointing those things out sometimes. I am quite outspoken, it's just me.

Anyway, glad to hear that we have a truce as I don't like bickering on a personal level. I like to attack concepts and abstract things like governments rather than fellow posters.
