    Hi mate
its very important to involve the feet hips and shoulders into your punches, and make sure you are fully extending the arms on your straight punches (without locking out the elbows) also dont ignore the 'feel' of your punch - go for the effortless, loose power instead of the ridgid 'pushy' feel (if that makes sense?)

if you've got an iPhone try this free app App Store - Mobile Boxing Coach
there loads of vids in it and some free workouts for you to develop your tecs on the punch bag
    cheers and good luck

You can read every book, watch every video, watch every fight, but there is no substitution for having a boxing trainer working with you. You need him stading there watching you, picking up on not only the major forms and techniques, but to spot those little mistakes, telegraph signals, improper everythings. You can do this on the side if you have no interest in boxing and are going into another form of martial arts. I see more and more MMA fighters who are weak in boxing and defense techniques, who would be better fighters if they had been trained properly. An MMA instructor does not expect me to teach MMA, and I do not expect them to teach boxing...but between the two of us, we can turn out a more effective fighter. Just food for thought.
