Probably not. He probably broke it on Froches face during the fight the amount of times he punched him. You cant have a broken hand and throw punches like Ward did.

yes you can, just watch Arturo Gatti's entire career, hell the Damgaard (spelling?) fight is the perfect example all rolled up in one, he knocked the guy out with a brutal left hand which was the hand that was broken

He didnt seem to have any problems with it throughout the fight. When boxers hurt there hands it is usually easy to pick up on but no one noticed a thing.
