Interesting but fair views from Schaefer IMO, its interesting what he says about the score cards. What do you think about this? I certainly think a rematch is fair with what happened, and I certainly believe it would be a good fight if they were to fight again. I think on netrueal ground Khan will do enough to beat Peterson on points. But Khan needs to just focus on what he needs to do, the showboating and excessivley getting hit with shots proved nothing IMO. Khan should be a lot more mature than that especially considering that a Mayweather fight wasnt too far away. He gave away too many rounds with trying to prove that he has a chin and I believe it cost him on the scorecards. No doubt without the points deductions I think he would have won, hopefully Peterson will keep his head up this time and Khan won't push as much. Peterson will have to put in a hell of a performance to defend his titles, but I think Khan should win if he isnt stupid!
Khan wasn't trying to prove he had a chin, he just has no idea what he is doing on the inside, he has no head movement, keeps his arms in the same place every time. He was trying to show bravado to try and dishearten Peterson and show him that his punches couldn't hurt him. That was his only chance to keep Peterson off of him.

The first point deduction shouldn't have happen, but neither should that knockdown happened in the first round. In the final round Khan pushed again the ref said break, and Khan hit Peterson again after the ref was clearly moving inbetween them. Khan deserved that point taken away.

By the looks of what he was doing I personally do think he is trying to still prove that he can take a shot, maybe hes just trying to prove it to himself as well. And I do believe he takes too much punches but I do agree with you that he does need to work on his inside work. However, some of the punches that he did take I believe could have been avoided. Khan had Peterson where he wanted him when he was boxing clever on the outside and if they rematch I would want to see Khan not getting as involved in the inside because against Peterson he was having his best momments when he was boxing using his speed and staying away from Peterson getting in close on him. I do feel Khan has work to do with his defence and needs to just be more focused on what hes doing when hes in the ring. He got silly IMO with taking shots he really shouldnt have and in ways I do feel that he was purposley taking leather and in the next fight he needs to stop doing that because the big shots he was taking was what the judges wanted to see big power shots that Khan no doubt felt the power of.

I don't particularly like Khan or his style or attitude but usually he wins and when he fights, I watch to see when he finally gets picked like a cheap lock. Peterson had that pick in his arsenal except6 the lack of power. I think the reason Khan lost was because he as not careful and he faltered on the battle plan and maybe he will do better if he pays attention and does what the plan entails because now Peterson is another fighter that's wise to him.

I'm not disputing the result, but there is definitely something dodgy about those scorecards.

The fact they took so long seemed odd, then when they got there one of them had been changed. Plus the missing score card and then what he said about the scorecards showing different results.

It all seems a bit odd.
