Danny Williams vs Derek Chisora for the British was really disappointing - I did expect Williams to be beaten as he was shot to bits and admitted so in the build up..but man, I didn't realise he was that shot. He looked scared and like he didn't want to be in there..Put up no resistance whatsoever. Not at all the same Williams who KO'd Potter with a dislocated shoulder or took a drubbing from Vitali.

I suppose we couldn't be too disappointed with someone who admitted they were shot before hand..But it was pretty damn bad.

in a way I'd put Toney v Jones jr there. I still think Jones got in his head and Toney left some of his fire in the locker room
well it depends really, Camacho pretty much redeemed himself a bit in the sense that he took his beating against Chavez and stood a bit with him rather than running all night like he had been doing since his close call against Rosario, but I guess you can say it was a bit disappointing in the sense that the fight was so lopsided
I don't think Camacho's performance against Chavez was that bad. He tried. He was just in against a better fighter. But he made an effort. Now against De La Hoya. That's a different story. He went out like a bitch. Hugging and tackling Oscar just to save that gay ass curl of his

that's what I meant, he tried but the fight was lopsided, so if some were expecting a competitive fight between a slugger (Chavez) and a fast technician (Camacho) they were probably disappointed that it ended up so one sided, and agree that he was just pulling for a paycheck against DLH, Oscar still goes down as the only guy who was able to drop Camacho although it never did get counted

He didn't go down against Trinidad 3 years earlier, because he ran like a chickenshit throughout the last few rounds of the fight and was hanging on for dear life.

he still ran against Oscar, just DLH was able to drill him and Camacho being the clever fuck he has always been tackled DLH to play off the KD

Yes Camacho v Tito was negative from the Macho Man but you cannot blame him for that with Tito's power, against Oscar you could.

don't see how you could against Oscar seeing how he was viewed as a pretty brutal puncher all the way up to welterweight, Mayorga fight alone shows that DLH wasn't too far behind in the power department

I expected more from that Camacho vs Chavez but unfortunatly it was a sign of things to come the next time he would face top fighters. The desparity in opposition he faced in between and scores of spoke volumes. He's always had solid hands and feet like Hermes but I think he was showing a Victor ruiz fondness for hugging as early as round one with Chavez.

Oscar had heart, skill and conditioning but not the brutal power of Tito which I know you will agree.

I don't know about him, but you know of course that I'LL agree to that.
