First off..what a wonderful fight if its made , 2 very good fighters actually wanting to fight each other.

Now where does this leave manny pacquaio?? , the fans wont want to see a pacquaio vs cotto 2 fight. So does that leave the door open for a pacquaio vs peterson fight??

I really hope so as its another excellent fight and it leaves amir khan (im not his biggest fan) in limbo.

marquez vs bradley and pacquaio vs peterson are excellent fights , fights teh fans no doubt will look forward to.

khan could fight prescott is hes bored though NO i cant see it either

Great fight and winner deserves to fight Manny.

People seem to think Bradley is a lot better than I do, found it almost painful watching him take so long to stop the ghost of Casamayor last time out. I like the fight for sure but think MArquez eats him alive unless he really loses something in the lead up. Don't imagine 140 will require much effort to make but you never know with someone JMM's age at that weight, I thought he may well have benefited a lot from not havig to cut anything against Pacquiao..

I do have to agree with that he really does lack any form of power and watching him against Casamayor was painful. He is a good boxer though and I don't doubt that, he needs a stern test like Marquez or pacquiao to get the best out of him. I think to his credit he deserves a fight of that level now, I would have loved him to fight Khan though. If he does fight Marquez at 140 next win or lose I wouldn't mind seeing him fight the winner of Khan-Peterson if it happens again.

I like Bradley in this fight. I dont read too much into the Casa fight as Bradley was just going through the motions and treated it as a sparring session yet he made alot easier work of it than Marquez did. Styles makes fights and it appears Marquez has Mannys number but Bradley has that slick Amercian style that is perfect for dealing with Mexicans.

It wil be competative for the full 12 rounds but age and size play a part in this one and Bradleys reflexes and speed will be what seperates them IMO.

Marquez also wasn't in the ring with zombie casa, I also don't think bradley and slick go in the same sentence.

Marquez is awesome. My favourite Mexican fighter by far. I really hope he gets the recognition he deserves when all is said and done. I pick him over Bradley. Just goes to show when you've got the fundamentals down and have that boxing intelligence, you can still be effective at an advanced age

I agree that Bradley isn't slick. It's tough to pick a winner. I like Bradley on first glance although I can see many ways JMM wins.

They both fought washed up versions of Casa. Joel fought both guys after his gift over Cruz.

As for Bradley not being slick, Lamont Peterson would disgaree. Bradley likes to mix it and is built like a mini Tyson but he is skillful too and can make you miss. We'll have to have a sig bet if this fight ever comes off.

Maybe not slick but definately a very well oiled machine.

I think Marquez' career has been on a short-term lease for about 4 years now. Can't help but doubt him in this one.

I mean Bradley is pretty shrewd.

So please tell me what American style fighter has issued problems to JMM in the past. Remember JMM is not a basic Mexican style figher. Also please elaborate on this American style and who is good at it these days. American style do you me Dancin with the stars style ? Because Bradley definitely does not have good feet. Pac has the best feet I have ever seen and he could not run away from JMM,

Mayweathers Amercian style issued problems to JMM. He dominated very second of every round. Norwood aslo beat Marquez on points.

Bradley showed in his last fight he has evasive skills aswel. At time he was looking like Pernell Whitaker the way he made Pac miss. JMM is alot slower than Pac and doesnt throw as many flurries so Bradleys reactions will have to be a lot slower if Marquez is going to keep tagging him. Tims feet are also alot quicker than Marquez' and his fitness at his age should be better too.
