I remember watching this fight with my dad few months back and it was a disgrace. The dude showed up fat, couldn't take a body shot and was looking for a way out and the ref did him a favor. Salif could have ended it in the 4th but held back and poor refereeing cost him the fight.

Yes I watched it live and I was gobsmacked when the ref threw Salif out.....I felt bad for Salif and the German boxing community should all be ashamed

Remember Danny Williams was beating up an undefeated German and the same corrupt ref stole the fight from him but not in this obvious way. I would punch the ref accidental.

Marling B. Wright- Librado Andrada came from behind to knock Lucian Bute out in the last round, only to have the knockout nullified by Marling Wright's blatant and inexplicable refusal to count.

And the worst part is that, despite this obvious fraud, Marling Wright continues to work as a ref.

He must be a club fighter who needs the money so if he kept quiet and lost he would be guaranteed other fights, I am guessing. I would have more pride and taken the man out and guaranteed another big pay day.
