    Why the relativity? It was awful and in breaking treaties showed a remarkable lack of class and honesty in the settlers. It was beyond awful and was genocide.

    It is healthy to point out the truth and not cower from it because we are ashamed and at heart when dealing with the facts, I believe most American's feel torn. They like what they have, but when they learn how they got it, their skin inevitably starts to crawl.

    It was savagery and ironically the Indians were called the savages.
