Brock, kudo's for trying but your poems are constructed incorrectly.

If it's a 4 line verse then ideally the 1st and 3rd line should rhyme, in turn so does the 2nd and 4th. Repeat and rinse.

This will offer a greater flow to the poem and read alot deal better for the end user.

well thanks for that advıce, but thats the beauty of free verse or freedom ıf you lıke---you can say or wrıte whatever and however you want. I try not to be too restrıctıve whılst freely expressıng myself. Dont box yourself ın to a set formula.

I like a poetry form called Haiku.

They try to paint a picture,go deeper or say the most in the minimalist way possible usually its written on three lines and sometimes has two meanings.

From some I wrote years ago on the back of a Haiku book.

    I fall
    Into the receptiveness
    Of your left eye

    Nature all
    law
    cold murderess

    ting ting ting
    metal rope
    On bare mast

    twirling splinters
    of
    deaths wind

    nothing
    is something
    compared to this.

    Pat my fury head
feed me and clean up my shit
    you slave.

    Two queens on the turn
    a knave and a king
    on the river

Go on then you two, start a poetry thread. It will serve two purposes, it will provide an arena in which to express yourselves poetically and save us all from having to read any more of your lovely compositions,

    but really, if your mission
    is to extricate traditions
    to generate and motivate
    with your rapid fire renditions

Then there is only one thing for it
    and many will implore it
on bended knee with hands on eyes
    your poetry makes wordsmiths die

so take it with you, set words free
and save us from the misery
if I have offended I will show repentance
just spare me from another sentence

Very good, I've never liked the gay rhyming stuff myself

Can appreciate the skills and fruitiness involved though.

I must be gay then as I much prefer a poem that flows as Greenbeanz did. Great effort Beanz ! Rather than the other stuff that just sounds like garbled jibberish from a patient in a mental home, bit like your's Andre
