my only rule in the prediction contest is that every time there's a Derry Matthews fight I have to pick the other guy by KO. It worked so well for a while but has backfired lately.

Ive watched Derry's opponent a few times and he looks half decent...quick starter for the Italian & Derry's slow start= Derry getting stopped inside 5 rounds. If this Italian travels well it should be curtains for Derry

Marsili had rounds 1 through 4 at a canter for me, and it looks like there's significant damage to Matthews' nose, which has been gushing blood. Matthews takes the 5th though.

What a sixth round. First half looked like Matthews was going to stop Marsili. Second half of the round Matthews looked to run out of gas, and three body shots saw Matthews take a knee. Great stuff.

Stoppage in the 7th for Marsili...correct in my decision cause Derry's face was ripped to shreds. Brave effort, and the ref did him the favour in the end.
Marsili was rocked, but he landed a lot on Derry. Good win.

Marsili was too fast and accurate all night. Not just the bodyshots the Italian's uppercuts just took Matthews to pieces.
