Not really. There is a huge problem with complete arseholes being attracted by power. You see it in Politics, Finance , all kinds of fields. Plenty of incredibly racist police, mysoginsts, rapists and wrong uns. In the case you are referring to race may not have anything to do with it, but that hardly erases the thousands of cases in which is clearly a major, if not the largest contributing factor.

not really. cops don't care who you are they only want you to obey their false authority & their ego's get bruised when you don't. always record any interaction you have with cops. they are order followers & don't care what is right

This annoying too. while they are out drinking coffee not watching the screen as they are getting paid to. This breaks out, they come in bottom of screen and taze the guy who is standing up for himself and he hits his head hard on the ground! They are in panic mode here where as if they wernt eating dounuts, instead of just one of them watching the camera (protecting and serving). They would not have made this mistake.

In Australia you are allowed to walk up to the cop car and produce your license to them when pulled over.
Some of our tourists have been in for rude shock in the States when on holidays and they wander up to the squad car and then get drawn on or dropped.

Again that needs to addressed in their basic training; overseas guests dont know local procedures.
